Why did you join Cadence?

J.M. - The reason I joined the team was to look for challenges. And I believe the nature of the work, the degree of freedom and the thinking of making a dynamic team environment are some of the key differentiator Cadence has. It does make me feel IT is fun again.


What makes working at Cadence different?

M.C. – I’ve worked in corporate America for almost 25 years.  HP, Agilent, Ariba…all of them excellent companies with devoted customers, entrenched revenue streams, massive R&D budgets, and numerous internal opportunities.  And I’ve worked in small companies.  Alliente, AOGR, and now Cadence… all of them excellent companies with entrepreneurs innovating a unique solution, a leading-edge customer base, hand-picked employees, and the nimbleness afforded to entities unencumbered with unavoidable bureaucracy.  Cadence makes a difference to our customers by our expertise, speed, and innovation.  And that innovation is fueled by a team of individuals staffed primarily through references and with personal attributes that value individual impact over internal opportunities, intellectual property over an all-encompassing dental plan, and new team members introduced with “I was referenced by Russell” instead of “I used to work in IT”.  Give me Cadence any day.

Do you find the work you are doing interesting?

B.P. - I love the challenge of delivering a system unique in the industry. We have the opportunity to deliver value at the intersection of service management and service delivery that is not being addressed at all in telecom. What makes this possible is our team and our vision. This is why I come to work.
